Trip to the Denver Zoo

We finally took Reagan to the zoo. It's pretty sad that the last time that we took her was a year ago when we were still in Indiana. She was too young to really know what was going on. We have been wanting to take her for months but we have been waiting for the weather to be nice and for Randy not to be busy with work. I finally found a day to go so we did last week. It's an all day trip for us since we are almost two hours from Denver. But it was well worth it. We loved the Denver Zoo and the smile on Reagan's face all day was priceless.

This picture didn't turn out that great. But that is the best I could do to catch what was happening. Reagan was in a little fight with this monkey. She would pound on the window and he would pound back. She of course thought it was fun but I'm not sure if the monkey was having fun or if he felt threatened by her. It was pretty funny seeing them go back and forth and so did everyone that was watching it take place!!!

I am not really sure about this picture. I picked Reagan up after she was done looking and she wouldn't let me go. In fact she was smashing our faces together and giving me a big hug. But look at her eyes I think she is still checking those funny monkeys out!!

Reagan found this fun bridge to play on in the rainforest. All she did was go back and forth and back and forth. She thought it was the greatest thing ever. We had a hard time convincing her that it was time to go look at some other animals.

This is how Reagan looked not even a minute after being in the car. In fact we were still in the parking garage. So tired after a long day of fun. Unfortunately the sweet silence did not last but 30 minutes. And she was very upset the rest of the trip home.
