Camping

A couple of weekends ago we went camping for two days. It was a pretty hot weekend. Camping in a hot tent isn't exactly what I call fun. The only reason we decided to go camping with the heat was because we planned on spending the whole day at the beach that is at the camp ground. But just our luck it was closed for some remodeling. I was pretty mad about it because we'd basically planned our whole trip around it. I mean who seriously doesn't have the beach opened for Memorial Day Weekend. But we still managed to have some fun despite the disappointment.

Reagan roasting hot dogs with dad's help. Camping with a two year old is so much harder than a one year old. She wanted to do everything herself. There were one too many times that I thought she'd be burned by the fire. Thanks Andrew for taking this picture for us. I rarely am in any of our pictures!!

Our friends Andrew and Brianna came up for a night. Andrew brought his canoe to try out.
So we took a little ride out on the water. It was a little wobbly with three and 1/2 of us. Reagan had fun in Andrew's boat. She still talks about it anytime she sees a boat. Not sure she really liked it when we were out on the water and the boat was really wobbling. I thought for sure we were going to tip. I wasn't too worried about Reagan because she was holding my leg so tight I knew if we ended up in the water she wouldn't be far from me.

There were frogs everywhere at night. Reagan was so excited by them. Randy and Andrew were able to catch her one to hold. She would have love to bring him home for a pet but I convinced her that his mommy and daddy would miss him.
